What is Galbanum Fassoukh?
Galbanum Fassoukh (الفاسوخ) is a natural aromatic resin extracted from plants of the Ferula genus — mainly Ferula gummosa and Ferula galbaniflua — which grow in the mountainous regions of Iran, Turkey, and the Maghreb. The resin is harvested by making incisions at the base of the stem, allowing a thick sap to flow out, which hardens into yellow-amber or dark brown pieces.

Recommended Instructions
- Light a charcoal disc in a heat-resistant incense burner and wait until it is fully glowing (about 5 minutes).
- Place a chickpea-sized piece of Fassoukh on the charcoal. The incense will start to smoke gently.
- Let the smoke purify the space. For a complete purification, walk through each room while holding the burner. Air out afterward.
- For optimal results, repeat this process once a day for 7 consecutive days.
- Store Fassoukh in a cool, dry place. If sticky, place it in the freezer to firm it up.
- 💨Ventilation: Always use in a well-ventilated area to prevent smoke accumulation.
- 👶Children & Pets: Keep out of reach of children. Smoke can be irritating in confined spaces.
- 🤰Pregnant women: The use of incense is not recommended. Consult a healthcare professional.
- 🔥Supervision: Never leave burning charcoal unattended. Extinguish before leaving the room.
- 🚫Usage: Non-food product — do not ingest. For ritual and aromatic use only.
